Get a Hyundai Vehicle Warranty

All our vehicle warranties apply only to Hyundai vehicles purchased from an Authorised Hyundai Dealer. All vehicle warranties are transferable with the vehicle. All service work is performed in our dealerships using Hyundai trained mechanics and genuine Hyundai parts.

MyHyundai

A vehicle warranty gives you access to MyHyundai. All you have to do is sign up on the MyHyundai website and you can access your vehicle’s service records online, receive service notifications via email, and much more - including 24 hour Hyundai Roadside Assistance. If you update your vehicle details annually on MyHyundai when out of the warranty period, you will remain eligible for roadside assistance.

Factory Warranty - included with the purchase of all New Zealand new Hyundai vehicles

  • Standard Factory Warranty: covers manufacturing defects for a period of 3 years or up to 100,000km from when your New Zealand new vehicle is first registered in New Zealand (whichever comes first)
  • The Factory Warranty includes membership to MyHyundai and 24 hour Hyundai Roadside Assistance
  • Anti-Perforation Warranty: covers the main panels from perforation (rust right through the body shell). If New Zealand new registered before 1 July, 2008, this warranty applies for a period of 5 years or up to 160,000km, whichever comes first. If New Zealand new registered from 1 July, 2008 onwards, this warranty applies for a period of 10 years or up to 200,000km, whichever comes first.
  • Parts Warranty: Genuine Hyundai Parts purchased from an authorised Hyundai Dealer/Service Agent are covered for a period of 12 months or up to 20,000km, whichever comes first.
